🌵 “Cadillactus” is a public sculpture created by Swiss-American artist Roger Reutimann, located in Palm Springs, California.
Standing approximately 16 feet tall, the artwork is shaped like a desert cactus but made using visual elements inspired by the iconic 1959 Cadillac, especially its bold tailfins and bullet-shaped taillights.
The sculpture uses steel, fiberglass, and automotive-grade paint, with Cadillac-style taillights that light up at night, transforming the cactus into a glowing symbol of mid-century car culture and desert modernism.
