Spending an entire week meeting with top media executives, picking the brains of the nation’s leading journalists, and expanding my knowledge of the media industry grew my confidence, my capability, and, ultimately, my career. The connections I made through that experience gave me the opportunity to intern with one of DC’s leading local news stations and to develop my skills as a writer.
