Is it cake? When you're making dessert on the International Space Station, you have to get a bit creative—especially when you're looking to celebrate your friends and coworkers. As Astro_Ayers said in a recent Instagram post, "We use cinnamon buns, muffin tops, pudding, fruit, and other things we can find in the pantry to make [our cakes] special and delicious. Sometimes we get frosting as well and then we get to decorate them 🙂" In this photo, taken on June 13, Astro_Annimal holds a hamburger-shaped cake that the ISS crew put together to celebrate astronaut Takuya Onishi, of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, on his 200th day in space.
