Transcript: “I don’t know if you guys have noticed in the chorus of our new song, Better Days - on the word “you”, on the second half of the chorus, it’s a C sharp, which is the highest note I’ve ever put on a record, that I’ve ever sung on a record. And when I heard that melody, I was just thinking, “There’s no way.” I said to the guys, “There’s no way I can do that. That is too high for my voice to sing.” I was told that I *could* do it, and I went into the booth and got on the mic. And I had the band and travisbarker there, and just, they were so supportive and so patient, and hung with me while I figured it out.
