Confession: growing up I used to be so embarrassed of the looks and questions I would get on Ash Wednesday… but being a little wiser and older now and having gone through seasons of having faith and having none, I’m proud to share why having ash on my head is important to me. *it’s beautiful that so many people globally are practicing and sharing their faith and spirituality openly to the world and please let this be a reminder that religious tolerance and acceptance is integral to having a healthy and happy human experience.
