I've been reflecting a lot lately on what truly makes a leader impactful. I keep coming back to one of my favorite quotes from The Seven Crucibles: "It’s impossible to be a great leader unless you’re a great communicator." This quote really resonates with me because I've seen firsthand, both in my own journey and observing others, how much communication is everything. Whether it's building relationships with teammates, navigating challenges, or simply talking about issues in the locker room or boardroom, it all hinges on clear, empathetic, and consistent communication. I'm constantly working on refining my own communication style, learning to listen more deeply, talk about my thoughts more precisely, and tailor messages for all different types of audiences. It's an ongoing process, but one I believe is absolutely essential for growth as a leader. What are your thoughts on the link between leadership and communication? How are you communicating in your workplace or at home?
