Suspicious E-Bike Rider Leads to Felony Arrest in Santa Clarita On Saturday afternoon, one of our Summer Team deputies noticed a man riding an e-bike in circles within a gas station parking lot near Soledad Canyon Rd and Bouquet Canyon Rd in Saugus. With cars coming and going, the deputy made contact to check on his safety. He learned that the rider, a 58-year-old transient, had a felony warrant out of Sacramento for vehicle theft and a misdemeanor warrant out of Lancaster for reckless driving. He was immediately arrested, transported and booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail. Law enforcement authorities in Northern CA were notified and confirmed they’ll extradite him! Thanks to our Summer Team, that’s one more wanted individual off the streets of SCV, stopped before they had a chance to potentially victimize our residents! #SCVSheriff #LASD #SCV
