Mr. Kaufman gave the crew a behind-the-scenes look at how pure maple syrup is made — from tree to table! Daniel Kaufman is the son of Cmdr. Leon Kaufman, a founding trustee of the USS Constitution Museum. The crew is grateful to Mr. Kaufman and his father for helping to tell the story of Old Ironsides.
