🦃 My friends and I had an impromptu Friendsgiving/game night, which was the perfect chance to try some festive dishes. I brought baked gnocchi, Brussels sprouts salad, and apple cider BBQ chicken.

Baked Gnocchi
Ingredients:
48 oz gnocchi
8 oz sharp white cheddar, shredded
8 oz parmesan, shredded
8 oz fontina or Challerhocker, shredded
3 cups milk
A couple sprigs of sage
2 sprigs thyme
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
Salt to taste
Preheat oven to 350°F. Boil gnocchi and set aside. In a pan, melt butter with salt, sage, and thyme. Remove herbs if desired. Whisk in flour to create a roux, then slowly add milk until thickened. Stir in nutmeg and 75% of the cheese to make the cheese sauce. Combine with gnocchi. Transfer to a baking dish, top with remaining cheese, and bake for 15-20 minutes until melted and golden. Broil for an extra 2-3 minutes for a crispy topping.
