🍂 POV: you’re in the mood for a cozy fall dinner
Welcome to Episode 7 of my fall bucket list series, where I share recipes and activity to do this fall season!
I was in the mood for some Mac and cheese but with a twist and decided to bake them in an acorn squash! If you’re a fan of butternut squash Mac and cheese you’ll love this!
đź§€ Here is what you need to try this at home:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup AP flour
1 pint of half and half (2 cups)
1 block of cheddar cheese (shredded)
1 block of extra sharp white cheddar cheese (shredded)
1 block of gouda (shredded)
1 block of monterey jack (shredded)
1 block of colby jack (shredded)
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp garlic powder
2 cups of pasta shells
1 tsp olive oil
2 acorn squash
Instructions
To prep, boil your pasta shells until they reach al dente. While your shells are boiling, cut off & save the top of your Acorn Squash and hollow out the inside. Place the acorn squash to side until ready to fill.
