This combination has been one of the top 3 producing lures after the Kapsiz HD and Baby Bird for us in 2025. We rely on it to fish fast and cover water to find fish on new water as we've never been in the NE this early in the year and thus, this is all new. The "cricket" has its own unique vibration and water displacement, proving it's ability to generate bites for us back in California fishing behInd much more popular vibrating jigs. Conditioning is a very real thing in catch and release fisheries. The Scorpitail as a standalone lure has been fantastic for us fished weightless, but as a trailer it allows the "cricket" and other vibrating jigs the ability to kick way off center when clearing grass and the unique bulbous tail creates a sweet swimming action that these fish have responded incredibly well to.
