Targeting Big Smallmouth across the northern band of the United States has been a big part of my exploration of this vast continent since 2016. I'm equally as comfortable with light tackle as I am a bigbait setup due to my early formative fishing on the west coast as I focused on getting numbers of bites early in my fishing. I've taken trophy largemouth principles, saltwater techniques and lures, and all kinds of unorthodox thinking to target these amazing bass.
