Round 1 of our 1995 #USOpenCup Rewind Series ends with us awarding TheCup.us Player of the Round to Carlos Llamosa. After leaving #Colombia, and surviving the World Trade Center bombing, he began his pro soccer comeback with the New York Centaurs of the A-League. The Centaurs went down a man in the 15th min. Then Llamosa, who hadn't played pro soccer in about 5 years, led the shorthanded Centaurs to a 3-0 win with his solid defense & he also scored a goal in the 25th min.
