Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he has 'no choice' but to complete the defeat of Hamas - and will push ahead with a plan to take full military control of Gaza City, and other parts of the territory. In a press conference, speaking in English, Netanyahu claimed images of starving children shown in the world's media were fake - and that aid distribution was being held up by the United Nations, not Israel. He said the Israeli military would go after the final two Hamas strongholds in Gaza, and establish civilian governance.
