Calgary Transit is going electric with 120 new zero-emission buses rolling out by 2028.⁠ ⁠ By replacing older diesel models, the goal is to cut emissions, improve air quality, and boost service on short routes and during peak hours.⁠ ⁠ Thanks to federal funding, the city was able to purchase 30–40 more buses than if they’d gone with diesel or CNG.
