The Town of Banff has announced that the popular Banff entrance sign will be relocated to the Banff Train Station this October.⁠ ⁠ The move aims to reduce traffic congestion and improve pedestrian safety near Mount Norquay Road, where the sign currently sits.⁠ ⁠ Its new location will feature a landscaped parkette with benches, pathways, and improved access to nearby parking.⁠ ⁠ The $350K sign will now be part of a larger $1.2M redevelopment project, but Banff taxpayers won’t be footing the bill, thanks to support from the Waterous family and Mt.
