Sarah Shaw, a New Zealand mom living in Everett, WA, has been detained by ICE — along with her 6-year-old son. Shaw says she thought her travel documents were in order when she crossed into Canada to drop off her older kids for a flight. But despite her work authorization papers being approved, her advance parole travel document was still pending. Shaw and her young son are currently being held at the South Texas Family Residential Center and supporters are calling for them to be released.
