While abroad, Lura had the chance to visit iconic landmarks like Christ the Redeemer, compete against top international teams, and coach at a youth volleyball clinic—making memories that will last a lifetime. It was an incredible opportunity to play the sport I love while immersing myself in a new culture and forming friendships with athletes from across the country. Getting to compete alongside some of the highest-level DIII players in the nation pushed me to grow as both a player and teammate.
