How I challenge my negative self talk for lasting confidence as joy:
1. Notice my self talk— you can’t change what you aren’t aware of.
2. Challenge any negative self talk by reframing to be more growth oriented. (Example— I just failed a fitness test. Instead of staying “I suck, I’ll never be fit” I can reframe it to something like “I’m not where I need to be today, but I know I have the ability to improve.”
If you struggle with negative self talk, you’re not alone, but you have the strength to change it.
