During a visit to Lebanon, Iran's Supreme National Security Council secretary, Ali Larijani, said in Beirut that Tehran does not interfere in Lebanese decision-making, and that foreign countries should not give orders to Lebanon.
During a visit to Lebanon, Larijai met with Lebanese officials, including president Joseph Aoun and parliament speaker Nabih Berri.
No group in Lebanon is permitted to bear arms or rely on foreign backing, Aoun told Larijani on Wednesday, days after the cabinet approved the objectives of a U.S.-backed roadmap to disarm the Hezbollah group.
