Featured Recipe: Grilled Portabellas on Salad Greens
Ingredients:
4 whole portabella mushroom caps, washed
1/2 cup Organic Balsamic Vinaigrette, divided
salt & pepper, to taste
4 oz Greenhouse Grown Bold Mix Salad Blend
1 whole organic tomato on the vine, cored, cut into 8 wedges
Directions:
Preheat grill on HIGH 10 min. Brush “gills” (underside of mushrooms) and tops of caps with 1/4 cup vinaigrette. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
Place mushrooms on grill, gill-side up. Reduce heat to MED; close lid. Cook 10 min. Turn over; cook 3 min. Remove from grill; slice into 1/2-inch strips.
