In helping protect businesses from retail thefts, deputies were conducting a patrol check in a shopping center parking lot on the 24200 block of Magic Mountain Parkway, Valencia when they made contact with an adult male. Deputies learned that there were outstanding warrants for the man's arrest. As a matter of fact, there were THREE active warrants- for the charges of Grand Theft, Petty Theft, and Shoplifting. The suspect, a 62-year-old male from Reseda, was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine, with multiple prior convictions for controlled substance offenses. He was promptly arrested on the three warrants and an additional felony charge for possession of a controlled substance with prior convictions.
