𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲: 𝐂𝟏𝐂 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞 Meet C1C Lauren Mirande from Highlands Ranch, Colorado. 🏔️ Lauren is a Geospatial Science major with a minor in Spanish, and she’s heading to pilot training after graduation. ✈️ Inspired by her father, a former marines infantry officer, she chose #USAFA for its mission, top-tier academics, competitive soccer program and proximity to home. 🇺🇸 This past summer, she served as the Cadet Commander for Basic Cadet Training, 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟐,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐬 and sharpening her skills in leadership, decision-making and accountability.
