Connection in Utah’s rural communities💙
Last Friday in Vernal, Utah, local champions for early childhood development from across Uintah, Duchesne, and Daggett counties came together at the Uintah County Library for a networking luncheon hosted by United Way of Utah County’s Help Me Grow program and Prime Time 4 Kids.
It was great to hear from Michael Peterson, Occupational Therapy Program Director at Eastern Utah Early Intervention Inc., who shared valuable insights on motor coordination and sensory processing in infants and toddlers. We can’t wait to take what we’ve learned about these essential learning skills and apply it to our program.
Special thanks to Shelly Monson, Program Manager at Primetime for Kids, and Kathy Weaver, United Way Help Me Grow Community Liaison, for helping lead this meaningful event. Together, we’re building stronger systems of support to help every child thrive.
