We didn’t have a million-dollar budget or a roster of celebrities to champion our cause and that’s exactly how I wanted it.
This work is powered by real people, for real people. The strategy behind the marketing, the outreach, the physical demand of packing and distributing, has ALL been made possible by the people in our community that chose to show up consistently.
I chose this as our first large-scale campaign because functional disparity , the reality that some needs simply go unmet , has become far too common in our society. The only way to dismantle it is to talk about it and act on it, together.
