Key tips on Tags: 1) Let the ball travel: catch it as deep as you can to the bag. 2) Stay above or outside the ball: You should be trying to get your glove moving towards the runner before you catch the ball. If the throw is online, stay above the glove and catch going down. If the throw is right of the bag, get the glove outside of it to come back left. 3) Tag where you catch it: Where ever you catch, draw a straight line back from there to tag, dont try to go back towards the base. 4) Front side, or Straddle: My personal preference is front, because it allows for you to move freely on bad throw, but know how to do both. #PryorDevelopment
