A new International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) report shows that 91% of utility-scale renewables added last year were more cost-effective than traditional energy sources. On average, solar was 41% cheaper and wind was 53% cheaper than the lowest-cost fossil fuels. Additionally, Battery storage costs have dropped 93% since 2010!
