Sushi Sho is truly one of a kind in the sushi space. While you can go to many places and have exceptional food, Chef Nakazawa puts together a dinner that is, at the same time, a study of the history of sushi and a look into the future. His mission is to share Edomae sushi with the world, but he’s constantly pushing the boundaries.
The style of service is a hybrid between omakase (chefs choice) and okonomi (a la carte) and bites like ankimo paired with baby watermelon or a palate cleanser of New York apples imprints his pieces, making them truly unique. Nakazawa is a quiet chef, not one to step into the limelight, but he’s been humbly honing his craft for over 40 years and his newest venture in New York has solidified him as one of the most legendary sushi chefs in the world.
