The breakfast they'll eat again and again...and you can prep the night before. These cheesy pork biscuits are gluten-free (but oh-so fluffy) with 15G of protein and easy to mix and bake for a repeatable morning win. 🌄✨
What you need to make ~12 biscuits:
• 1 Tbsp. avocado or olive oil
• 1 large yellow onion, diced
• 1 medium red bell pepper, diced
• 1 lb. 90% lean ground pork
• 2 tsp. kosher salt
• ½ tsp. black pepper
• ½ tsp. ground sage
• 6 eggs
• 1½ cups (6 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
• 1½ cups blanched almond flour
• ⅓ cup coconut flour
• 2 tsp. baking powder
Instructions:
1. Brown sausage in a large pan with onion and red pepper.
2. Combine sausage mixture with all other ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Create your biscuits.
3. Top with cheese.
4. Bake for 12-14 minutes at 400° F.
5. Refrigerate & enjoy all week long!
