It’s back to school and partnering with californiabeefcouncil to show you how to make a delicious beef pho in under 30 minutes. It’s a dinner my family loves and it’s so easy to make.
Ingredients:
2-3 pounds of beef chuck short ribs
2 ounce spice bag (star anise, cardamon, fennel seeds, cinnamon, cloves)
2 tbsp fish salt
1 tsp salt
1 medium onion
2 ounce ginger
1 ounce rock sugar
1 bag of rice noodles
Instructions:
Start with 6 cups of water into Instantpot and place all ingredients in. Pour more water if needed to the max water line. In settings do 30 minutes, pressure cooker on high.
While the Beef Pho is cooking, boil water and cook rice noodles. Rice noodles only need 30-60 seconds in hot water. Then drain and rinse under cold water to stop noodles from cooking.
Once the beef pho is done use long tongs to release the pressure valve.
To serve:
Place rice noodles into a bowl, garnish with thai basil, thai chili, cilantro and green onion. Add beef rib and hot beef broth. Optional...
