AMALFI STYLE LEMON SORBET🍋🇮🇹
No need to travel all the way to Italy this summer to enjoy one of those gorgeous lemon sorbets served inside a lemon � I used a ninja creami to make mine, but you can make them using an ice cream maker! Full instructions below :)
Ingredients
-6 large lemons
-3/4cup sugar
-1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
-1 cup water
-1/4 tsp xanthan gum
-Mint leaves (optional)
�Wash and dry lemons. Zest and juice two of them. Rub the lemon zest into sugar until fragrant and place inside Ninja creami pint followed by lemon juice, water, and xanthan gum. Whisk well and freeze for 24 hours.
Hollow out a few lemons by slicing off the tip as a lid, scooping out the insides, and freezing the shells. Spin the pint on sorbet setting. If it looks crumbly, respin once with a splash of water. Scoop into the frozen lemons, freeze for an extra hour, then serve and decorate using mint leaves!
