In her speech, Camp to Campus, marymaker_43 recounts her experience living at Kakuma Refugee Camp after fleeing war in southern Sudan. Mary co-founded elimisha_kakuma to provide access to higher education opportunities for high school graduates living in the Camp. Alongside refugees the UN Refugee Agency, we're working to ensure that no populations face barriers to education, investing in those that are not able to access testing around the globe. With a supportive community, we can integrate refugees into a network, guide them through the confusion and loneliness of being away from home, and collectively address the barriers they face.
