Many people made the best of a beach day on Wednesday, Aug. 20, in #Wildwood, New Jersey, despite gusty winds, high surf and a no-swim warning ahead of Hurricane #Erin. A coastal flood warning is in effect through this weekend for much of the Jersey coast, where 1-2 feet of water inundation above ground level is expected in low-lying areas, according to the National Weather Service. Despite the storm not making landfall in the U.S., its energy is pushing water onto the coastline. Even more wind and surf impacts are expected in the next couple of days.
