As far as I could go for my final long run before my knee seized up 🫠 supposed to hit a 32km but just couldn’t get there.. My physio said I have ITB irritation which is honestly so painful😩 The Sydney Marathon is in exactly 2 weeks from today and haven’t ever ran further than 22km šŸ™ƒšŸ˜… I’ll be icing it and doing my best to prep before then but I definitely have anxiety thinking about running 42km. At this stage my goal is to be able to finish it😭 I’m still smiling & grateful everyday to be able to move my body! 🫶 I never take it for granted. ā¤ļø Please drop any advice you have.. especially if you’ve dealt with anything like this before!! #sydneymarathon #marathon #running #fitness #marathontraining
