Get to know tiffanygholar, a multidisciplinary artist who just celebrated 15 years of being in the Fine Arts Building! 🎉 From her 6th floor studio, she writes and creates art in a variety of mediums, including photography, collage, and more. In her Post-Consumerism project, she works with “useless” items that would otherwise be thrown away, turning packing materials and plastic bags into richly textured works of art and imbuing permanence into impermanent objects. She often accompanies her art with essays, like in The Doll Project, a conceptual photography project utilizing Barbie dolls. In addition to her many art books, she’s also published a novel.
