Today is the International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition. We at Color Of Change know that the legacy of slavery is alive and well in this country. Whether or not America will acknowledge it, we pause to remember centuries of bondage, dehumanization, and death that reverberate today. We mourn every loss, every broken family, every cry of a people enslaved. We will continue to speak up for change and racial equity #UntilJusticeIsReal.
