The Sazerac Cocktail made with the new sazeracrye 100 proof. Cheers to the weekend my friends! • Add ice to an old fashioned glass & set aside to chill • Add 1 sugar cube & 3 dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters to a mixing glass. Muddle into a paste. • Add 1 1/2 oz sazeracrye whiskey. Then add ice & stir until the ingredients are well incorporated & chilled. • Dump the ice from the old fashioned glass and add 1/4 oz Herbsaint. Swirl it around the chilled glass then toss out the excess. • Strain the cocktail into the chilled, Herbsaint coated glass. • Express the oils from a long peel of lemon over the cocktail. Coil the lemon peel and place it on the wide of the glass. I love the new 100 Proof Sazerac Rye as it holds up even better in cocktails than its predecessor.
