Replying to @dl So, how is this different from @Patrick Ta Beauty’s eyeshadow falling out of the pan? We’ve spoken about this before, but Patrick Ta’s duo eyeshadow issue last year was because his duos are made with a specific slurry manufacturing procedure and it’s a very delicate formula which requires a proprietary filling process with a plastic grid, or godet, underneath. A slurry is a hybrid wet and powder texture which are dried using various proprietary methods to get to an end result. Every supplier does it their own way. Despite it being delicate the shadow itself stays solid and usable meaning you can still apply it as intended, you just need to pop it back into the plastic grid/pan. This happens with a bunch of high end eyeshadows across a range of luxury brands actually - tom ford, Dior Beauty, and Chanel beauty to name a few!
