“It felt like a hidden escape in the heart of the city,” says Gina Coury of her family's home—but an escape with an inescapable layout. “It wasn’t open-concept like the newer homes you see today,” she shares. “But we figured that with some TLC and an artful eye, it could be something we could enjoy and love.” As for whose eye would be artful enough, neither her husband Dan nor Gina herself was certain—until they happened upon #ADPRODirectory designer Huma Sulaiman of her namesake LA-based studio, who gladly lent both of hers.
