It may be hot, but fighting crime doesn’t stop! Deputies responded to a report involving a woman who walked into one of our local libraries and walked out with one of their computers. Crime Prevention Unit deputies in collaboration with Robbery Team detectives arrested the 35-year-old Newhall woman on charges of felony grand theft. She was transported to the station jail and remains in custody, being held on no bail. Detectives successfully executed a search warrant and recovered the stolen computer, which has been returned to its rightful owner. #LASD #SCV
