Photography & videography is more than just shooting on location.
This is me spending a couple of hours making a pitch deck for an upcoming music video for a client so we can flesh out the details and color grading they want, as well as camera angles and locations we want to capture.
I’m always down for a run & gun session but I know if I want to take it to the next level, I need to learn to prep & plan better for bigger projects.
Starting by improving my mood boards & pitch decks to present to potential & future clients.
I, then, plan to work on creating a standardized set of questions to ask each client during our initial meeting/call to set expectations, needs, wants, and budgets.
Finally, I want to be able to bring in associates to assist during sessions to make filming more efficient of the client’s time. This will also increase overall costs but in the end, you look more professional with a team. Plus, it’s nice to be able to pay the homies!
