A former UC Berkeley visiting professor is suing the UC Board of Regents after alleging that her application to return was denied due to her Israeli nationality. Filed Wednesday in Alameda County Superior Court, the lawsuit claims that dance professor Yael Nativ was the victim of discrimination and failure to prevent discrimination under California law.
