Rather than sign with FC Cincinnati, the MLS club that held his discovery rights, or LAFC, a partner club of Bayern, Müller has his eyes on Vancouver. The Whitecaps are now reportedly “finalizing a deal” for Müller, after agreeing to pay a $400,000 fee to FC Cincinnati. Vancouver appears likely to sign Müller through the 2026 season, paying him with targeted allocation money in 2025, before opening up a designated player spot next year.
