With the announcement of the SEC moving to a 9 game conference schedule, that means Alabama’s 2027 slate (and all the others) are going to be absolutely insane. Alabama will now have to play nine conference games and a “quality” non-conference opponent every season. Every SEC team’s schedule is going to be an absolute gauntlet. And when fans start arguing for why there team should be in due to SOS, B1G and ACC fans will say how it doesn’t matter and is a pointless metric.
