Illinois just announced the first-ever legal hotline for the LGBTQIA+ community in the U.S. 🚨 Launching on 25 August, IL Pride Connect will offer free legal help on issues like gender-affirming care, name and gender marker changes, housing, discrimination, healthcare access, and more. The hotline will be staffed by trained advocates in both English and Spanish. “For us to be able to go on offense, and not be on defense, is what I love about this state. Together we are fighting ignorance with information.
