โ—๏ธGeneral Motors has issued a voluntary recall for the 2023โ€“2026 Corvette Z06 and 2025โ€“2026 Corvette ZR1. The recall is due to a fire risk caused by spilled fuel during refueling that can leak into the fuel-filler pocket. Excess fuel may reach the left-side radiator and fan assembly, where heat sources can ignite it. Dealers have been ordered to stop sales and deliveries of affected vehicles until a fix is developed. Approximately 25,500 vehicles are affected across Z06 and ZR1 models. Base Stingray and E-Ray models are not included in the recall due to different cooling layouts. GM plans to install a shield or insert to divert spilled fuel away from ignition-prone components. Until then, owners are advised to fully insert the fuel nozzle, avoid topping off, and carefully remove the nozzle when fueling. The risk can be greater after track use since cooling fans may continue running when the car is hot. What are your thoughts? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ’ญ Featuring Media From General Motors #chevrol...
