The families gathered at a memorial plaque dedicated to the Chinese sailors at Liverpool pier on Saturday. Little is known about China's crucial role in World War 2 but thousands of Chinese sailors that helped the Allies and had settled in the UK were rounded up and brutally deported after the war.  Kellie-Anne Flower, granddaughter of one of the seamen, tells CGTN why it’s so important to remember them.
