"It really was a very good beach." It's been over a month since North Korea opened the Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Zone - and despite being billed as a destination for international tourists, so far only select groups of Russians have been able to visit. Details of how it was built have been shrouded in secrecy, and human rights groups have criticised the alleged harsh treatment of workers, including claims of forced labour, harsh conditions, long hours and locals being driven out of their homes. One of those tourists was Anastasia Samsonova, who says there were some restrictions the tourist groups had to follow. Anastasia said her group was also told not to photograph construction sites and was expected not to wear revealing clothes. She said the guides told her the guards were needed to "prevent situations where we interacted with locals and startled them".
