Congratulations to Stony Brook Athletics Coach Matt Senk, #StonyBrook Baseball’s longest-tenured coach, on reaching his 950th career victory as the Seawolves defeated Niagara in their home opener. Senk has built a legacy of excellence over 35 seasons with seven regular-season championships, six conference titles, and six NCAA Tournament appearances. His leadership has not only shaped Stony Brook Baseball but also helped 51 players sign professional contracts, including five who made it to the major leagues. Coach Senk is one of only 12 active college baseball coaches to achieve this milestone, cementing his place in the New York State Baseball Hall of Fame and Suffolk County Sports Hall of Fame.
