🌶️ Week 11 of Game Day Bites: Chili Cheese Nachos 🌶️ If you have some leftover chili, you need to make these nachos. They came together in 30 minutes, and were gone in 10! This is for a half sized sheet tray Nacho -Tortilla Chips of Choice -Chili (see prior post for recipe) -Cheese Sauce (see below) -Pickled onions (see below) -Jarred jalapeño -Chopped cilantro -Lime Pickled Onion -Slice up a half of a red onion. Cover with 1/4 cup water and a 1/4 cup red wine vinegar. Then mix in a tablespoon of honey, and a pinch of salt. Set aside in the fridge for 30 minutes. Cheese Sauce - This technique is from danseidman -8 to 10oz cheese of choice, freshly grated -1/2 cup whole milk -40mL lemon juice -1.5 tsp baking soda Combine lemon juice and baking soda in a large container and let it fizz. Once it stops, add it to a pot with the milk. Bring to a simmer and stir in the cheese. Cover, remove from the heat, and let the cheese melt for 5 minutes. Then blend on high for 1 minut...
